We serve families and individuals of all ages, and are centrally located near Bank Street and Kilborn Avenue in Alta Vista, with free parking available at the Paroisse St-Thomas-D'Aquin church, at 1244 Kilborn Place, Ottawa, ON K1H 6L1 (map - walking directions).

Custom Mouth Guards

for kids in minor hockey or ringette

Mouth guards are an important piece of equipment for playing hockey. They protect teeth from breaking or being knocked out during an impact and may also protect your child from concussions. The medical community is paying more attention to concussions as we now realize that there can be serious long term consequences for people who suffer concussions.

Custom mouth guards fit better than boil-and-bite or off-the-shelf mouth guards, so they are more comfortable to wear and easier to breath with and more durable. They come in a variety of solid or multi-colours.

The fee for the mouth guard is $50 (regular fee is $180), payable when the impressions are taken.

Kids wearing braces are usually better suited to wear boil-and-bite mouth guards. You can call me or your orthodontist if you have any questions about what type is best for you.

I will run two mouth guard clinics on Thursday September 8 and Thursday September 22 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Please call the office to book a time: 613-738-1113. I expect the mouth guards would be available for pick up one week after each clinic.

I have included an attachment for you to print (click here). The top half is the order form you can fill out at home. The bottom half is a note you should leave on your dashboard so you can park for free at the Paroisse St-Thomas-D'Aquin Church at 1244 Kilborn Ave.
